The 5th Annual African Petroleum Forum focuses on exploration in emerging African frontiers, the gas-LNG game on the Continent, players and their strategies, State Companies in Africa, and Independents - and new thinking on Africa. This year some 30+ leading Speakers are showcased in this world-class international management Conference.
Over 150 executives attended the APF in London in 2007, establishing it a a leading forum for deals, direct networking with Governments, and new paradigms in the African upstream game.
On the day prior, Global Pacific & Partners will hold its 5th Annual African National Oil Companies: Strategy Briefing, for which separate Registration is required. CAPE IV, the 4th African Petroleum Congress and Exhibition will take place from 24 - 27 March 2010 in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo.
The event will be organised by the African Petroleum Producers Association (APPA), the Ministry of Hydrocarbures, Democratic Republic of Congo and AME Trade Ltd, UK.
In the same year as the football World Cup will take place on the African continent for the first time; CAPE IV will be the veritable "World Cup of African Oil", as investors compete for over 100 billion barrels of proven oil reserves contained in APPA member countries.
CAPE IV will include delegations of the highest rank, from the sixteen petroleum producing members of APPA namely: Algeria, Angola, Benin, Cameroon, Congo, Congo DRC, Cote D'Ivoire, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Libya, Mauritania, Nigeria, South Africa, Sudan and Tchad
CAPE IV: an event with a guaranteed attendance of the highest level
CAPE is established as the largest and the most influential oil and gas event in Africa. Previous editions have been organised since 2003, CAPE I in Tripoli, Libya, CAPE II, 2005 in Algiers (Algeria) and CAPE III, 2007 in Cotonou (Benin). Previous editions of CAPE have featured over 500 participants.
CAPE IV will be organised at the same time as the 27th Ordinary Session of the APPA Council of Ministers meeting which is attended by the Ministers of APPA member countries The event will also be organised concurrently with the Forum of General Directors of African National Oil Companies. These aforementioned facts assure that CAPE IV will be an event of the highest level with a guaranteed eminent African audience
